Disclaimer: I actually purchased the UN46C6900 which is the exact same television with a different colored bezel, however all here applies to the 6800 as well. After doing a great deal of research online and in the shops, this TV really seemed to make a lot of sense in terms of price vs. performance, and after my purchase I have to say I certainly agree. I am coming from a higher end 32″ Samsung LCD from about 3 years ago, and have spent time with friends and their various Samsung, Toshiba, Sony LCDs and Panasonic plasmas. Hopefully this review will help you make a decision and also provide some insight into using it for various input sources, particularly with a PC. The first question you need to ask yourself is if you want 3D… if you’re like me, you’ll find the added cost probably isn’t worth it, particularly if you already have a Blu-ray player (given that you can get a better deal on 3D glasses with a Samsung Blu-ray bundle). if you do not want 3d this is the best tv to buy! i have the un46c6900 from best buy it is the same tv as the 6800 but a different color bezel. this is the only tv except the c8000 that has the led dimming. with this you get the blackest black i have seen on a led tv. also there is no clouding or light bleeding in the corners of the tv .i have had 4 different tv’s from samsung in the last two years from the 46a650 to the 46b750 and the 6800-6900 tops all of them in picture quality! i did not want the 3d feature so this why i went with this tv.if you do not want to spent the extra money for the 3d model c8000 this is the tv to get.

I give this TV 5 stars and I do think it’s great, but it is not perfect. No TV is. So you should know what you are getting (and foregoing) when you buy this set. Much of it has been stated in other reviews, and I agree for the most part. After many hours of research and comparison, I concluded that this was the best non-3D LED LCD TV I could buy at this size. Most brick and mortar stores will display a “similar” model like the 6300/6400/6500 etc, and the salesperson will probably tell you the only difference is the frame color, but this is far from the truth!
