I bought this on sale from Amazon, so the price was VERY good compared to some of the other 32″ models on the market. I had seen that it received an “excellent” picture quality score from a leading electronics review magazine, so I had fairly high expectations. It actually EXCEEDED my expectations, and then some! Absolutely FANTASTIC picture quality!!! Any of my friends and family that have seen it have commented on the picture quality without even knowing that it was a new tv. I have a couple of big, high-end plasma and LCD tv’s in my place, but this little thing actually beats them in picture quality. I don’t find the sound to be “poor” as some reviews had mentioned. Sure, it’s not the same as hearing sound through a big home theater system, but it isn’t offensive in any way. This was also the first time I had mail ordered a tv.
